The Online Clinic is able to offer IgG antibody testing by post for Covid-19. This test tells you if you have had the virus. The test requires a small blood sample to be taken using one of our specially designed kits for patients to use at home. The sample is returned in a reply-paid envelope to our contracted laboratory and analysed for the IgG antibodies associated with Covid-19 (coronavirus).
The test has a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 99.5%.
Results take 24 hours from the time the sample is received at the lab. You receive a copy of your lab report along with an interpretation from a doctor.
