What is Amoxicillin?

How does Amoxicillin work?
Amoxicillin works by preventing the growth of bacteria. Specifically, Amoxicillin acts by blocking bacteria from forming cell walls. Although Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, it will not work against all infections.

Amoxicillin is also used to treat bacterial infections, including dental abscesses and chest infections. The doctor will recommend the correct antibiotics depending on your symptoms. Are there any side effects of Amoxicillin?

I was still in on alot of discomfort by day 4 with the swelling still very painful. Day 5 tomorrow still swollen but not as bad am hoping the swelling will go as its the last day of treatment. Has been so painful and swollen even with the treatment provided.

Maybe I did not explain but I have in the past spoken to my dentist about this and he had the the tooth is gradually wearing away he wants to leave it like that rather than cut into the gum thanks.
